We also develop materials for schools and communities

At Gladiatrix , we Gladiatrix develop gear for boxing schools, gyms, and sports communities that share our vision: that women deserve to train with equipment designed specifically for them from the start.

One such project is Boxlady, a women’s boxing school in Ferrol founded by Asun Moreno. Two female entrepreneurs, two different projects, and one shared vision: to bring boxing to more women through confidence, community, and respect for their real needs.

Boxlady has partnered with Gladiatrix develop its own boxing gear as part of a long-term collaboration. for women, it’s not just about making gloves—it’s about being part of an ecosystem that’s changing the way women experience contact sports.

Gloves designed for beginners in boxing

For Boxlady, we started with our beginner gloves—one of the first products we developed at Gladiatrix something we’ve been working on since the brand’s inception.

These gloves are designed to accompany your first training sessions: they’re comfortable, functional, and made for women who are just starting out in boxing or who are looking for gear suited for regular training.

In this case, they have been developed in 8-, 10-, and 12-ounce sizes to accommodate different students, needs, and types of training within the school.

Because when a woman starts boxing, the equipment matters. It matters how the glove feels, how it fits, how it responds to punches, and how it’s part of that first experience in the ring or in a class.

A partnership with a shared vision

Boxlady and Gladiatrix a similar view of women's boxing: not as a secondary category, but as a space with its own identity.

That's why this partnership makes so much sense for women. Because it shows that there are schools, clubs, and communities that want to go beyond generic materials and create a more thoughtful experience for the women who train there.

Seeing our products in a space like Boxlady confirms something we've been advocating from the very beginning: when equipment is designed for women from the start, the experience is different.

Boxlady in the Media

The opening of Boxlady has also been covered by Diario de Ferrol, which describes it as the first women-only boxing club in the Ensanche neighborhood.

For Gladiatrix, seeing our content featured in projects like this is a sign that women's boxing is carving out its own spaces, its own codes, and its own communities.

More than Just Selling Products

At Gladiatrix and sell boxing gear for women, but our vision goes beyond just running an online store.

We want to build a brand capable of developing solutions for women who participate in contact sports: from gloves and handwraps protective gear, custom equipment, and innovative new products.

That's why working with a school like Boxlady makes so much sense for women. Because it shows that there are gyms, clubs, and communities that also want to go beyond the generic stuff.

And because it confirms something we see every day: when a product is designed with women in mind from the very beginning, the experience is different.

A Shared Understanding of Women's Boxing

Boxlady and Gladiatrix a very simple idea: women deserve to train with equipment that's designed with them in mind.

Not as an exception.
Not as a secondary category.
Not as a “smaller” version of the usual.

But rather as athletes with their own needs, preferences, bodies, and communities.

for women, being behind Boxlady's gear is yet another way to continue building that ecosystem: one where women can train better, more comfortably, more confidently, and feel more represented.
